Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL

Estimated Duration: 9 Months

Summary of Role:
This role involves supporting the digital banking application project by gathering and analyzing business requirements to support technology builds and operations. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs, leveraging expertise in modern banking platforms, digital banking, and agile/waterfall methodologies.

8-10 years
Here are some of the key requirements and responsibilities included in this role:
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Perform analysis on business and technical requirements
• Facilitate sessions to gather requirements and create user stories
• Document requirements and collaborate with the Product Owner on user stories
• Provide clarifications and support during design, development, and testing phases
• Elicit requirements and analyze feasibility
• Develop project documents for stakeholders
• Provide consulting, analytical, and technical support

Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of requirement gathering methods
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and Visio
• Experience with SaaS-based products
• Previous banking experience
• Experience with Digital Banking Platforms and retail deposits core banking platforms
• Experience with FIS Modern Banking Platform and Digital One products

Desired Skills:
• Agile certifications (preferred)
• Previous BMO experience (asset)
• Experience with ancillary banking systems (GL, sanctions, money movement, ACH)
• Relevant post-secondary degree

Qualifications
Strong knowledge of requirement gathering methods: 5 – 9 years (Required)
Experience with FIS Modern Banking Platform and Digital One products: 5 – 9 years (Required)
Experience with SaaS-based products: 5 – 9 years (Required)
Previous banking experience: 5 – 9 years (Required)

Education/Certifications
Agile certifications (Desired)

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $55.00 and $75.00
