Job Title: IT Financial Reporting Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 12 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze IT financial expense reports around large purchase orders, staff augmentation, and consulting spend, amongst other items, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint
- Validate and perform data cleansing tasks as necessary
- Conduct detailed trending, variance analysis and provide insights to management on IT expense management performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and improve reporting processes.
- Assist in monthly reporting update processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing relevant financial analysis and insights.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the financial reporting function.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all financial reports and dashboards.

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, business intelligence, data visualization or a related role.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, DAX formulas, Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with financial ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP), and MS Sharepoint is a plus.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA, Power BI certification) is a plus but not required.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$40.00 and CA$60.00
