Chef de projet en ingénierie – Projet de développement 

Nous recherchons un Chef de projet en ingénierie pour notre projet de développement 

Travaillant directement sous (ou plutôt aux côtés de) notre Responsable en ingénierie, le candidat aura les responsabilités suivantes (sans s’y limiter) :

  • Diriger l’équipe d’ingénierie du projet MMS afin de respecter le budget, les échéanciers et assurer des livrables de qualité ;

  • Exécuter le plan de développement en ingénierie, incluant l’identification et l’anticipation des problèmes pouvant nuire ou compromettre les objectifs du projet ;

  • Maintenir les normes et processus de travail en ingénierie ;

  • Évaluer les risques techniques, proposer des mesures d’atténuation et des plans de contingence ;

  • Produire et présenter des rapports d’avancement pour la direction 

  • Préparer les estimations d’ingénierie et les plans de développement ;

  • Être en interface directe avec le client.

Exigences du poste :

  • Aptitudes interpersonnelles marquées

  • Solides compétences techniques en C/C++

  • Connaissance du processus de développement logiciel

Profil idéal :

  • Leader né (nous recherchons un leader, pas un simple gestionnaire)

  • Bon relationnel

  • Très bon en C/C++ et expérience avec d’autres langages

  • Bilingue (français/anglais)

  • Bonne compréhension des concepts systèmes

  • A déjà travaillé chez le client  ou dans un environnement similaire (15 équipes ou plus)

  • 5 à 10 ans d’expérience en ingénierie logicielle ou en ingénierie système

We are looking for an engineering Project Lead for our MMS development project.
Working directly under (more like alongside) the Engineering Manager, the candidate will have responsibilities such as (but not limited to):

  • Lead the MMS engineering project team in order to respect budget, schedule and ensure quality deliveries;
  • Execute the engineering development plan, which includes identifying and anticipating problems that could hinder or adversely limit the project's objectives;
  • Maintain the engineering work standards and processes;
  • Evaluation of technical risk, mitigation and contingency;
  • Produce and present progress reports for management review;
  • Prepare Engineering Estimates and Development Plans;
  • Customer interface

What is required for the job?

  • People skills
  • Strong technical skills in C/C++
  • Knowledge of software development process

What is an ideal candidate?

  • Natural Born Leader (not looking for a “manager”, but rather for a leader)
  • Good with people
  • Strong in C/C++ and has worked with other languages
  • Bilingual (French/English)
  • An understanding of System concepts
  • Has worked at our Client or in similar environment (15 + teams)
  • 5-10 years of experience in SW or System engineering

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$65.00 and CA$85.00
