Job Title: Power Apps Developer
Location: Onsite – Woodstock, ON
Type: Expected 6-Month Contract

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Apps Developer for a contract position, lasting 6 months. The ideal candidate will have deep understanding and experience in developing solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps. This role is critical for designing and implementing custom applications to improve our business processes in a complex, dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  •  Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
  •  Integrate Power Apps with various data sources and systems, including SQL databases, SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Work independently to deliver complete solutions, capable of producing a finished product with minimal input from other developers.
  • Operate effectively in an agile environment, delivering work in 2-week sprints and incorporating testing feedback promptly.
  •  Ensure adherence to data security standards and handle highly sensitive client data with utmost privacy.
  •  Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand standards and processes and translate complex business requirements into seamlessly integrated technical solutions.
  • Maintain and optimize existing Power Apps applications, ensuring their reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Design, develop, and implement custom Power Apps solutions to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Power Apps solutions.
  • Extensive experience and understanding in amending code, testing and ensuring everything has been done ready to going live
  • Process Automation monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Change Management, Communications and end user training

Qualifications:

• Deep experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Apps is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate (Flow) and familiarity with Power BI.
• Experience working in complex business environments, with exposure to nuclear or other utility being highly desirable.
• Proven ability to work in an agile development environment and deliver within tight sprint cycles with a high standard for accuracy and quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform are a plus.
• Understanding and experience in handling sensitive client data with a strong focus on privacy and compliance.
 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$80.00 and CA$85.00
