Job Title: Agile Delivery Manager
Location: Chicago
Start Date: July 1
Type: 6+m contract

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to lead the re-platforming of a customer-facing account opening platform for a major financial institution. This is a long-term, high-visibility project focused on bringing a proprietary, vendor-based solution in-house—impacting core banking services such as checking account setup, digital onboarding, and more.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, testers, and executives, to ensure seamless delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the end-to-end Agile delivery of the account opening re-platforming initiative

  • Manage and monitor project progress using JIRA and Clarity, ensuring alignment with business objectives

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across product, technology, and business lines

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure Scrum best practices are followed

  • Act as a liaison between Product Owners and delivery teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements

  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on platform integration

  • Adapt to fast-paced, evolving environments and remove impediments to delivery

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Agile Delivery or Project Management experience in the financial or banking industry

  • Expertise with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including facilitating stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives

  • Advanced JIRA skills (for tracking, reporting, and managing Agile backlogs)

  • Experience with customer-facing digital platforms (account opening, online banking, deposits, lending, or credit card systems)

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Clarity PPM for portfolio and project tracking

  • Experience working with vendor-based banking platforms

  • Background in digital transformation and platform modernization projects

  • Experience with re-platforming initiatives or migrating third-party solutions in-house

  • Knowledge of deposit, credit, or lending products
