Position Title: QA / QC Test Lead
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

CB Technolog Business Group: Commercial Global Engineering: Oversees changes/implementations to commercial client programs.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of Canada’s top 5 banks. client is also the first bank to have Salesforce and nCino. Lastly, there is an opportunity for extension and conversion to full-time.
Typical Day in Role:
- Develop Test Strategies for project delivery.
- Develop Test scenarios and queries for the In-house developed application, DB level and E2E testing scripts
- Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
- Produce dashboards and reports for sprints or code releases.
- Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
- Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
- Create or maintain databases of known test defects
- Good understanding of testing standards and methodologies
Must-Have Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in QA Testing
- Experience with Salesforce integration
- 3+ years of experience using:
- JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket/Git
- Managing test cases and test plans using JIRA plugins such as Xray or Zephyr
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Talend (version 7 or 8)
- Exposure to nCino (particularly within financial services and automation contexts)
- Ability to write complex SQL queries and perform functional testing
- Salesforce certification
- Previous experience in the financial industry (FI)
Soft Skills Required:
- Excellent communication skills to work with different stakeholders across the organization and Excellent presentation skills with executives
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work independently.
- Solution-oriented
Education & Certificates:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Engineering or a related field
Best vs average
- Someone who has an understanding of nCino and has worked in financial services.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$85.00 and CA$95.00
