Job Title: Communication Specialist – EV Charging

Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)
    
Estimated Duration: 14 Months

Our client is a leading energy utility that generates, purchases, distributes and sells electricity. They are currently looking for an EV Public Charging Communication Specialist for their Vancouver location.

Overview:
The EV Marketing Product Development Specialist will support public EV charging communications, marketing, rate pilots, marketing program design, marketing program project management, planning, metrics tracking and understanding of CSAT.

Responsibilities:

  • Support evolution of the public charging marketing strategy
  • Work closely with the client communications team
  • Execute and or/project manage specific communications and marketing activities with relevant stakeholders including email newsletters, social media posts, client content updates, call centre agent materials, paid advertising campaigns, support major awareness events and news releases
  • Support regulatory rate pilots including testing and piloting pricing offers, incentives, acquisition programs, retention programs, A:B testing, track results, learn from those results to influence future rates and programs.
  • Actively work with client's EV network related product managers to incorporate improvements related to mobile app/digital experience, physical experience in-dealer experience, OEM software alignment, roaming, Plug & Charge and other opportunity
  •  Drive customer experience improvements to the EV buying process and how that improves EV owners first experience with public EV charging

Experience and Role Accountabilities

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience or equivalent is required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of client's EV charging business and the EV industry
  • Experience developing and executing outcome-oriented communications and marketing initiatives (e.g. user signups, revenue generating campaigns, awareness tactics)
  • Experience providing a high level of customer service, and building productive stakeholder relationships
  • Experience developing, tracking, and analyzing key marketing metrics
  • Experience developing and leading marketing/communication strategies and project plans
  • Excellent collaboration, writing, communication, facilitation, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter who can identify opportunities for improvement, take ownership of assigned projects, and see them through to success
  • Experience driving or charging an electric vehicle, and/or working in a regulated utility is considered an asset

 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$55.00 and CA$68.00
