Job Title- Sr. BI Consultant 
 
Job Description:
The successful applicant will be personable, high energy, and take ownership for documenting data analytics and performance management processes and procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented but can also understand the bigger picture. He or she will be responsible for fully comprehending business needs and translating needs into analytics solutions. The candidate requires a passion for continuous improvement and driving business performance.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Develop strong relationships with DE Canada, IT and third-party vendors.
• Identify and document data-related business requirements.
• Document Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and data sources.
• Automate KPI reporting.
• Analyze customer and operational data to identify process and performance improvement opportunities.
• Work with key stakeholders to develop predictive models towards improving business performance.
• Work with IT to define our BI and analytics roadmap.

Working Conditions:
• Combination of open office environment and working from home.
• Some overtime required as special projects arise.
• International travel may be required which will require a valid passport.

Minimum Requirements:
• 3 years of BI experience.
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• SQL experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in technology (Computing Science or MIS) or business (Bachelor of Commerce).
• Business requirements capture experience.
• Experience in electricity and/or natural gas.
• Experience working with diverse internal stakeholders.
• Experience working with external partners, ideally including working with a Business Process Outsourcing vendor.
• ETL tool experience.
• Predictive modelling experience.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with an ability to multitask and successfully operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong facilitation skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Teams, PowerPoint and Excel in particular).
 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$90.00 and CA$105.00
