Position Title – Intermediate to Senior Java Software Engineer
Expected 8-month contract
Location – Cambridge (Hybrid)
Our Systems Engineering Group is looking for a candidate to join our fast-paced dynamic environment supporting our Internal Logistics Applications Team.
The role includes duties through all phases of the SDLC with a focus on supporting existing custom solutions to our internal customers. Our environment is in constant update as we work to uplift and improve existing apps as well as develop and provide new functionality to our customers. The team is medium sized consisting of 5 (including the candidate) team members.
The focus of this engagement is to complete some functional enhancements to several of our regionally deployed applications that the business owners have identified and complete some technology uplift activities.
Full SDLC Team Member:
- Must Have:
- SpringBoot, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Data
- Angular 14+, Postgres 15+
- Docker, Jenkins, Git
- Nice to Have:
- Kafka, Redis, Selenium
- JEE (EJB, JSP, JDBC, JMS) w/WebSphere v8.5.5
- Looking for an experienced developer with minimum 5 years of experience.
- Experience working in a SCRUM team.
- Speak to experience with systems design, business analysis, testing, database design
- Comfort working directly with End Users to support issues or elicit new requirements is essential.
- Capability to provide work estimates, test plans, deployment procedures and documentation is required.
- Experience with data modeling and database design is a plus.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$60.00 and CA$75.00
