Technology Change Management Consultant (OCM)
What You’ll Do
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Change Management Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing technology-driven transformational change initiatives within the organization. This role involves working closely with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate the adoption of new technologies, mitigate resistance, and ensure seamless integration into business processes.
The successful candidate requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure continued engagement and to provide executive-level briefings on matters related to strategic changes.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive change management strategies tailored to specific technology projects. Identify potential risks and resistance points and develop mitigation plans.
- Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs, concerns, and expectations. Build strong relationships with project sponsors, leadership teams, and end-users.
- Create clear, concise, and compelling communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed. Develop communication materials such as emails, presentations, FAQs, and newsletters.
- Design and deliver training programs to ensure users are proficient with new technology changes.
- Oversee the implementation of change management activities throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor progress and effectiveness of change management efforts through feedback and metrics.
- Gather lessons learned from completed projects to refine change management methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in technology change management.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Organizational Development, or a related field
- Proven experience in leading technology-driven change management initiatives within organizations.
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci) is desirable.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$131.00 and CA$100,000
