Job Title: Design Liaison Engineer (Contract)
Working Model: Remote (Anywhere in the U.S.)
Preferred Location: Greenville, SC (not required)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (no overtime supported)
Interview Process: Virtual (video) – one round with the hiring manager and potentially an additional team member
Position Summary
The Design Liaison Engineer is responsible for leading a team in the successful management, substantiation, and execution of critical engineering drawing changes and related tasks. This role provides technical guidance, ensures compliance with established engineering processes, and drives timely, high-quality task completion.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and guide the engineering team through the review, approval, and implementation of design tasks based on business needs.

Provide technical and project management support for engineering drawing changes, ensuring quick and accurate resolution of issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.

Apply design and manufacturing expertise to identify and implement process improvements that enhance product performance, quality, and cost efficiency.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the gas turbine industry.

Demonstrated leadership, project management, and teamwork skills.

Strong communication and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Proficiency with PLM, Ansys, NX/UG, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
