Job Summary
As a Technical Manager of Merchandising Capabilities, you will lead the development and implementation of advanced pricing strategies and technical produc
t delivery for our applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership in Agile environments, and the ability to drive innovation through data analytics and automation. You will manage cross-functional technical teams, ensuring pricing models and features align with business objectives and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy

  • Own the pricing and product strategy for our applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead and mentor technical teams, fostering collaboration across engineering, data science, and product development.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for pricing systems and delivery processes.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Ensure technical alignment between squads and product objectives.
  • Utilize Jira and Confluence for backlog management and documentation.
  • Analyze technical trade-offs and make informed decisions with engineering teams.
  • Maintain robust documentation of technical requirements.

Product Management & Agile Delivery

  • Define and execute product roadmaps with a strong technical focus.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as the primary technical authority for features within your portfolio.
  • Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and ensure backlog prioritization for pricing and product deliverables.
  • Oversee resolution of production issues and coordinate go-to-market strategies for feature releases.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 6–8 years in technical product or pricing management roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence) and SAFe Agile certified
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Other Skills: Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$81,000 and CA$131,000
