Job Title: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Estimated Duration: 1-2 Months

Role Summary
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant will support our in-house team in completing the foundational migration activities, ensuring a smooth transition and a stable, scalable setup. While the first phase focuses on basic campaign and contact migration, this role will also help ensure the platform is configured with future Marketing Cloud capabilities in mind, particularly Journey Builder, which we plan to leverage in 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Migration Support

  • Provide guidance and troubleshooting to resolve issues encountered during the migration of email campaigns, templates, and contact lists from Constant Contact to Marketing Cloud.

  • Assist with mapping and importing contact records, ensuring data accuracy and list integrity.

  • Configuration Review & Optimization

  • Review our existing Salesforce Marketing Cloud configuration to ensure proper setup, alignment with best practices, and readiness for future enhancements.

  • Recommend optimizations that support both current needs and long-term scalability.

  • Integration Support

  • Assist with integration tasks between our Salesforce org and Marketing Cloud, including pulling contact information from Salesforce into designated subscriber lists or data extensions.

  • Ensure data flows are reliable, well-structured, and aligned with our campaign workflows.

  • Form & Landing Page Support

  • Help design and configure “sign-up” pages or landing pages that feed contact data into specific distribution lists within Marketing Cloud.

  • Rebuild functionality currently hosted on Constant Contact (example provided) within the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Future-Readiness for Journey Builder

  • Advise on any setup or architectural considerations we should implement during this phase to ensure a smooth transition into more advanced use cases in 2026, particularly Journey Builder automation.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud migrations, particularly from other email marketing platforms.

    • Strong understanding of SFMC configuration, subscriber management, data extensions, and integrations with Salesforce CRM.

    • Experience building landing pages, form captures, and automated list-population flows.

    • Familiarity with Journey Builder setup and foundational requirements (asset structure, data model, entry sources, etc.).

  • The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$90.00 and CA$120.00
