Job Profile
Acting as a centralized hub for planning across the CTC enterprise, the Planning & Integration team aims to develop collaboration and strategic leadership across the CTC enterprise (Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, Mark’s). The team is responsible for helping to drive sales growth for CTC by working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders (internal, external, cross-functional,) to build and execute pricing and promotional marketing strategies that address both business and customer needs.
As a member of this team, the Consultant, Enterprise Planning & Integration, is responsible for driving the strategic integration of pricing and promotional activities across various platforms and teams. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills, technical acumen, and a deep understanding of promotional strategies and digital transformation. The consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, adopt new technology/system-based tools and support team engagement. This role is part of a net new team, which will require the successful candidate to:

Key Responsibilities

Pricing & Promo Planning & Integration:
-
Ensure delivery of True North value across various initiatives.
-
Support multi-year value proposition strategy development from end-to-end.

Provide input and support into annual planning processes for Enterprise Pricing & Promotions.

Engage with stakeholders to develop strategic insights and translate them into actionable plans.
-
Partner with cross functional teams to ensure alignment on priorities and goals. Coordinate approvals, benefit summaries, measurement meetings, and documentation.

Support document builds for strategic planning meetings such as Seasonal Planning, Integrated Planning & various leadership meetings.

Generate detailed Event & Quarterly Post-Mortems and present findings to key stakeholders.

Extract and mine data to be able to drive insights and actions.

Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing future promotional activations based on customer & data findings.

Work closely with purchasing, pricing, operations & marketing teams to coordinate promotional activities.

Evaluate existing processes and systems, recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Support Manager of Pricing & Promotions with team engagement programs and practices such as townhalls, cross banner team meetings/events, regular communication.

What you bring

2+ years of experience with a focus on strategic planning, project management, process development, and consulting
-
University Degree – Bachelor of Commerce, Marketing, or equivalent
-
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to formulate option development and recommendations

Ability to work independently, being self sufficient to take the initiative on leading work

Strong communication skills
