Job Title: Sr Project Manager – Wealth
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 18 Months
- 2-5 years managing small to medium projects
- University or College education in Project Management, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Related industry certifications (PMP, Prince2) are considered an asset.
- Knowledge of a variety of project management practices and methods and how to apply them in low – medium complexity projects
- Business, technical and financial acumen
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships
- Good understanding of project methodologies and experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project), task management and collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint
- Working knowledge in Agile, Iterative and Waterfall methodologies.
- Demonstrate understanding of risk assessment and management techniques
- Developing effective relationships with management and technology or business stakeholders
- Managing a high volume of activity with a delivery focus, with the ability to prioritize and manage expectations appropriately
- Executing on projects with a high attention to detail
Role profile description:
The Project Manager is responsible for leading projects of moderate risk/complexity, working with business unit and technology leaders, project team members, and external parties, to ensure that projects are defined, planned and delivered. The Project Manager is accountable to the Project Sponsor for the delivery of business outcomes and value as set out in the project charter that outlines the agreed upon approach, project scope, cost, schedule, quality, risk and required resources to deliver the expected business value that meets sponsor’s expectations. This role applies broad knowledge and experience managing small to medium complexity projects or initiatives. This role is accountable for proficient and independent project management, managing relationships and collaboration with stakeholders. The Project Manager is also responsible to ensure the projects meet the standard for required deliverables and contributes to the adoption of these standards or practices.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$90.00 and CA$110.00
