What you’ll do
As an Associate Manager, Ad Operations, you’ll own end-to-end oversight of campaign execution, performance, and optimization across multiple ad platforms. You’ll serve as the primary AdOps point of contact for one (or more) sales pods aligned to industry verticals, translating media plans into activation strategies and ensuring flawless delivery. In close
partnership with Sales, Accounts, Planning, and Measurement teams, you’ll make data-informed decisions that maximize ROI and client outcomes. You’ll continuously refine processes, surface actionable insights, and lead optimization strategies to elevate campaign performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, to design media programs to deliver on common advertiser objectives, following Triangle Retail Media and platform best practices
- Provide strategic oversight on campaign optimizations across multiple ad platforms
- Serve as an AdOps lead for one or more sales “pods,” providing weekly updates on holistic campaign performance, optimization opportunities and post reporting insights
- Oversee budget management for campaigns, aiming for optimal ROI while maintaining financial stewardship
- Address campaign challenges proactively, offering timely and forward-looking strategies withing your sales pod
- Distill complex technical information about platform set-ups and optimizations into simple language for cross-functional stakeholders and TRM clients
- Peer review and QA the campaign setup work of other team members
- Act as a resource for other Activation team members, providing peer feedback and guidance
- Using strong understanding of campaign set-up best practices, oversee more technical set-ups and implementations
- Proactively identify key operational/workflow pain points, and participate in key projects to improve operational efficiency
- Liaise with product development, infusing frontline insights to evolve our advertising solutions. Work on project teams to bring new media solutions into market.
- Synthesize campaign data into clear, insightful reports for clients, highlighting key achievements and learnings
- Maintain agility in campaign management, swiftly adjusting platform budgets and strategies
- Engage in continuous learning to stay ahead in the evolving landscape of retail media advertising.
What you bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Marketing, Advertising, Business Analytics, or equivalent, complemented by 4-7 years in digital advertising campaign management, including social media, display advertising, search, and sponsored products
- Experience in multiple ad platforms is a strong asset
- Expertise in data analysis, leveraging metrics to justify, optimize and report on campaign outcomes
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, crucial for cross-functional “pod” collaborations and clear client-facing communications
- An independent, driven team member with a strong sense of personal accountability for outcomes
- A solutions-focused, collaborative mindset. Collaboration with subject matter experts on internal Canadian Tire teams and with external consultants and platform partners is a must.
- A solid grasp of retail media networks and their strategic importance in the digital advertising domain, including an ability to differentiate TRM’s solutions from other players in the market
- The capacity to effectively prioritize and progress multiple projects in a fast-moving environment, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
- A proactive growth mindset, with a constant appetite for industry developments and learning novel approaches to campaign enhancement

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$64,000 and CA$106,000
