Our Client a Software Developer is looking for a Engineering Manager for their Surrey BC, location.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end development of AI-driven products, ensuring seamless integration with client-facing web applications.
- Design and implement robust backend solutions using Python, with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Collaborate closely with product teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
- Manage engineering workflows and oversee the software development lifecycle within a cloud-based environment.
- Oversee Day to Day development of software development.
- Drive AI development and integration initiatives, enabling automation and advanced functionality across multiple products.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering innovation and best practices.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Proven expertise in backend development with Python (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of AI development and integration within enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with React for front-end development; familiarity with Java and Node.js is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle and cloud-based implementations.
- Demonstrated success in delivering end-to-end product solutions in complex technical environments.
- 8–15 years of professional experience, including 3–5 years in a team lead or technical leadership role.
- Experience working with distributed teams and managing projects across global locations.
- Exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies and automation frameworks.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$120,000 and CA$150,000
