Job Title: Project Coordinator
Duration: Long-Term Contract (12 Months)
Location: Bruce County, ON

Role Overview:
The Project Coordinator supports the successful execution of large-scale projects by coordinating resources, activities, and communications across multiple stakeholders. This role ensures effective alignment between project controls, engineering, construction, and external partners, helping maintain progress, quality, and compliance with established project procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and communicate project activities, ensuring alignment between internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Track and report project progress, milestones, and performance metrics; escalate potential issues promptly.
  • Support Project Managers in organizing meetings, recording minutes, and maintaining action item, risk, and issue logs.
  • Maintain project documentation, correspondence, and file management systems.
  • Assist with manpower forecasting, resource tracking, and schedule coordination.
  • Analyze project data to verify accuracy and support decision-making.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other project documentation as required.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities; able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6 considered an asset.
  • Confident delivering updates or addressing sensitive issues professionally.
  • Team-oriented with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Project Management, or related field.
  • PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification (or familiarity with PMI PMBOK®) considered an asset.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience supporting project delivery in a technical or industrial environment.
  • Prior experience in the energy, utilities, or nuclear sectors considered a strong asset.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$40.00 and CA$55.00
