Job Title: Contractor Management Specialist

Location: Winnipeg, MB (Hybrid)

Estimated Duration: 6 Months

Description:
The Contractor Management Specialist works closely with hiring leaders and contracted suppliers to fulfill contingent labour requirements. As a CMG Specialist, you will engage with suppliers who can provide contractors to meet our needs, and then draft, negotiate, and execute Statement of Work contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with hiring leaders to understand their contractor requirements, skillsets, term, etc.
  • Manage third party workforce full cycle, from the sourcing, renewals, terminations; and maintain accurate records of contractors supporting our company in the Procurement system (Ariba, Beeline)
  • Take a lead role in resolving supplier-related issues, such as bill rate discrepancies or service level expectations.

Qualifications: 

  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written) to ensure appropriate terms and conditions are captured in Statement of Work contracts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaborate with hiring leaders, suppliers, and our HR business partners.
  • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize your workload effectively and deal with frequent changes.
  • Demonstrate a high level of personal ownership and collaborative teamwork.
  • Ability to learn processes quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel and SharePoint.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel and SharePoint.
  • 3+ years of experience in contractor or vendor management, procurement, or sourcing is a strong asset.
  • Prior experience with Ariba is a definite asset.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$30.00 and CA$35.00
