Job Title: Project Coordinator (Intermediate)

Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid)

Estimated Duration: 12 Months

Our client is a leader in the responsible development and reliable and safe operation of North American energy infrastructure. They are one of the continent’s largest providers of gas storage and related services.

They are currently looking for an Intermediate Project Coordinator for their Calgary, AB location.

Description:

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager, Construction & Commissioning, Coastal GasLink Project (CGL), this position will manage Resource Coordination to support of successful execution of CGL.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Resource Coordination scope for CGL.
  • Proactively coordinate with various internal functions to identify the need, the timing and the level of Excluded Contractors required.
  • Understand the requirements and expectations of the internal customers and take action to deliver on the requirements and expectations.
  • Process requisitions for Excluded Contractors in accordance with the applicable processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate with approved Suppliers for identifying appropriate Excluded Contractors required by CGL.
  • Provide timely updates to the requisitioner on status of requisitions.
  • Keep track of the training requirements and status of all Excluded Contractors and proactively follow-up to ensure that all trainings are completed as per the requirements.
  • Review, recommend, seek approval and process requests for position changes, rate changes and profile changes of Excluded Contractor
  • Keep the Excluded Contractor database accurate and current.
  • Analyze cost, spend, trends and reports to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
  • Generate spend reports for all the Excluded Contractors.
  • Ensure that the work is performed in accordance with the processes, procedures, guidelines and contractual requirements.
  • Develop, where required and implement applicable procedures to ensure effective execution of work.
  • Coordinate with applicable contractor(s), to develop & implement plans, monitor progress and take proactive corrective actions to ensure smooth delivery of required services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree.
  • Experience in similar role is desirable.

Education/Experience:

  • Technical Diploma or Certificate
  • University Degree in relevant discipline
  • 5years of relevant experience

 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$30.00 and CA$40.00
