Job Title: Business Analyst / Product Manager – Gen AI Projects
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite at client location)
Employment Type: expected 12-month contract
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst/ Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for a cutting-edge Generative AI development project. Based in Toronto, this role demands close collaboration with both clients and global development teams, including those in London and India. You will act as the key interface between business and technology teams, helping define and deliver on a product roadmap that aligns with business goals and innovation targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with clients and business stakeholders to define and evolve the Gen AI product roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Translate high-level objectives into epics, features, and user stories that are clear, actionable, and technically feasible.
- Conduct backlog grooming and story refinement sessions, ensuring clear business context is communicated to development teams.
- Lead and facilitate program-level meetings, including steering committees and stakeholder syncs, with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as the key point of contact for geographically distributed development teams (Toronto, London, India), helping remove blockers and providing real-time business context as needed.
- Partner with project managers, technical leads, and UX teams to drive end-to-end product delivery.
- Champion agile product practices and contribute to continuous improvement across delivery teams.
- Spend 3 days per week working from the client’s Toronto office, building relationships and ensuring alignment with on-site stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead product role.
- Demonstrated experience delivering AI/ML or Gen AI projects in an enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI integration strategies.
- Strong ability to work with clients and senior stakeholders to shape product vision and roadmaps.
- Expertise in creating epics, writing user stories, and working in agile environments (Scrum, SAFe or similar frameworks).
- Proven experience leading cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience running program-level ceremonies and resolving delivery-level roadblocks.
- Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration in fast-paced environments.
- Prior experience in financial services, consulting, or enterprise technology sectors.
- Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, and agile delivery platforms. ???????
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$90.00 and CA$107.50
