What you’ll do
The Senior Consultant, Change Management & Capability Enablement plays a pivotal role in driving both the successful adoption and effective operationalization of Enterprise Retail Capabilities. This role bridges change management, product support and capability build to ensure new capabilities are well-designed, embraced across the organization, and transitioned into long-term sustainment.

Scope:

  • Leads the change management efforts inclusive of strategy, planning, and adoption activities for enterprise retail capability initiatives.
  • Support the development, implementation, and sustainment of retail capabilities

Change Management

  • Lead change management efforts across capability initiatives to ensure smooth adoption.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement plans, communication strategies, training, and resistance management approaches.
  • Coach teams on change management best practices and support consistent messaging across capabilities.
  • Identify change risks and create mitigation strategies at both capability and portfolio levels.

Capability Enablement & Product Support

  • Act as a lead support partner to product owners, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
  • Support capability build by facilitating requirements gathering and documenting user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and stakeholder input.
  • Support UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
  • Monitor capability performance, gather user feedback, and identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Ensure smooth transition from initial build to sustainment through documentation and incident support.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in retail, product management, capability enablement, change management, or portfolio oversight.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies such as ADKAR, Kotter, etc.
  • Experience gathering requirements, supporting testing, and enabling product/capability transitions.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
  • Exceptional communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools such as JIRA, confluence, Lucid, etc.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Adaptable and detail-oriented with strong strategic thinking abilities.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$64,000 and CA$75,000
