Job Title: Solutions Analyst
Location: Winnipeg, MB (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 12 Months
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business SMEs, underwriters, and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for PolicyCenter enhancements.
- Develop functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Guidewire functionality and business objectives.
- Collaborate with Developers, Architects, and QA teams to ensure accurate translation of business needs into PolicyCenter solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and UAT preparation.
- Support defect triage, root cause analysis, and change management activities to ensure system stability and quality.
- Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle and contribute to ongoing system and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Solution Analyst or Business Analyst supporting Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Strong understanding of insurance operations—particularly underwriting, rating, and policy administration.
- Familiarity with Guidewire product model, rating concepts, forms, and coverages (functional understanding, not configuration).
- Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, and Agile delivery frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Guidewire Business Analyst or PolicyCenter certification is an asset.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$70.00 and CA$95.00
