The Business Systems Analyst acts as a critical intermediary between the assigned line of business and the development team. This role ensures effective communication, thorough analysis, and successful delivery of solutions across all phases of the solution development lifecycle, from initiation to post-implementation follow-up.
The candidate must be able to come on-site to the Phoenix office 4 days a week.
Information Security Responsibilities

- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Primary Responsibilities

- Advocate for business clients throughout the solution development lifecycle, including initiation, analysis, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases.
- Conduct complex analysis to identify core business issues and map potential solutions.
- Develop business cases that define needs, methods, and benefits of proposed solutions.
- Translate business needs into detailed requirements to guide solution development.
- Creates user stories and collaborates closely with the development team to refine solution designs and ensure successful outcomes.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to the requirements document.
- Resolve conflicts stemming from technical deviations from agreed requirements.
- Partner with the testing team to ensure that all issues are identified and resolved before rollout.
- Evaluate user interactions with the solution during implementation, making modifications as necessary.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
- Ten (10) years of experience in business/systems analysis or a related field.
Key Skills:
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent Communication
- Proficiency in Jira.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Business Analyst (BA) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a closely related degree.
- Prefer technical background and some PM experience
Skills and Competencies

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficiency in JIRA
- Ability to create user stories & acceptance criteria in the required tool
- Strong project management skills.

- Strong analytical and data research abilities.
- Capable of adapting to new systems and technologies as needed.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $45.00 and $52.00
