Job Title: Finance Communications Specialist

Job Summary

The Finance Communications Specialist will support internal communications and content management for the Finance organization. This role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and distributing finance-related communications, maintaining SharePoint content, and supporting major finance initiatives through presentations, videos, and organizational updates. The position requires strong writing, organizational, and digital communication skills to ensure timely and effective messaging across the organization.


Job Responsibilities

  • Draft, coordinate, and distribute internal finance communications including organizational announcements, project updates, dashboard updates, and ad-hoc messages through the shared finance mailbox and SharePoint.

  • Manage the Finance shared mailbox, respond to or route user inquiries, and ensure communications are addressed in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate the review, approval, and distribution process for finance communications across stakeholders.

  • Utilize distribution tools such as PoliteMail to send communications to large audiences and track engagement metrics (e.g., read rates, click-through rates).

  • Maintain and update the Finance SharePoint site, including redesigning site pages and restructuring content to support initiatives such as Finance of the Future.

  • Develop and maintain Finance organizational charts to reflect structure changes within the organization.

  • Create and support presentations for major finance initiatives, town halls, project updates, and internal events such as Beyond the Numbers.

  • Manage video content including basic editing, publishing, and maintaining a library of finance-related media.

  • Support additional communications and branding requests such as marketing materials, promotional items, and event collateral.

  • Compile and summarize information from meetings to extract key insights and support project communications.


Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or a related role.

  • Experience managing content in SharePoint or similar content management systems.

  • Experience using email distribution and analytics tools such as PoliteMail or similar platforms.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.

  • Basic experience with video editing and publishing tools is preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage approval workflows for communications.
