Job Title: Application Engineer
Location: Markham, ON (Hybrid)

Role: Technical Lead – Industrial Panel Production Liaison Focus: Design-to-Build Integrity (P&C, SCADA, Telecom)
The Mission You are the final technical authority ensuring that complex protection and control designs are actually manufacturable. You sit between the Design Office and the Production Floor, acting as the “Final Filter” to ensure every enclosure, wiring list, and schematic is error-free, safe, and optimized for assembly before a single wire is cut.
Core Impact Areas

Engineering Validation: You will perform “Pre-Flight” audits on full design packages. This includes stress-testing enclosure specs (thermal, IP/NEMA), verifying component clearances for tool accessibility, and ensuring electrical logic remains intact through the physical wiring transition.

Supplier Synergy: You are the primary point of contact for our enclosure fabricators. You’ll manage the translation of internal layouts into precise CNC drilling patterns and DXF files, ensuring that “as-ordered” matches “as-needed.”

Production Optimization: Your goal is to kill rework. You’ll identify Design for Manufacturing (DFM) improvements to streamline the build cycle, enforcing standardization across all SCADA and Telecom lineups.

Technical Bridge: When the shop floor hits a snag or a “redline” issue, you are the first responder. You’ll resolve design ambiguities in real-time and feed those lessons back into our engineering standards.
What You Bring

Deep Domain Roots: A minimum of 5 years spent in the trenches of P&C panel design and assembly.

Dual-Threat Skillset: You hold an Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical) and can navigate AutoCAD effortlessly to manage mechanical interfaces.

Regulatory Knowledge: You have a “compliance-first” mindset with a working mastery of CSA, UL, and CE standards.

The “Six Sigma” Lens: You prefer data-driven improvements and likely hold a Green or Black Belt; you don't just fix errors, you eliminate the root cause.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$35.00 and CA$40.00
