Job Title: QA Analyst

Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid)

Estimated Duration: 12 Months

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to support the SAP Canada delivery portfolio. This role is accountable for ensuring the quality, stability, and scalability of SAP solutions across customer care, billing, and operational processes.
In addition to strong manual testing capabilities, this role will design, develop, and maintain automated test cases/scripts using UiPath, enabling repeatable regression testing and improved release confidence as SAP and automation capabilities expand across the Canadian business.
This role partners closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Developers, Continuous Improvement Analysts, and Business SMEs within Agile delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Testing
• Support Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts in documenting appropriate scenarios and test cases
• Execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for SAP initiatives, using both manual and automated efforts inside ADO and UiPath(functional, integration, regression, and UAT).
• Validate end to end business processes across SAP modules (e.g., billing, customer care, finance, integrations).
• Ensure acceptance criteria and “definition of done” are clearly testable and met prior to release.
• Coordinate and support business-led UAT, including defect triage and resolution.
• Identify, generate and maintain test data which is required to execute test scripts
Test Automation (UiPath)
• Identify, Design, build, and maintain automated test cases/scripts using UiPath for SAP and integrated systems.
• Identify high value automation opportunities (e.g., regression, repetitive validation, data checks).
• Collaborate with delivery teams to integrate automated testing into sprint and release cycles.
• Maintain reusable test components, documentation, and execution results.
Defect & Test Management
• Log, track, and manage defects using Azure DevOps (ADO) or equivalent tools.
• Provide clear defect analysis, reproduction steps, and impact assessment.
• Report testing outcomes, risks, and quality metrics to delivery and leadership stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to improving QA standards, tooling, and test automation maturity within SAP Canada.
• Support production readiness, cutover, and post deployment validation activities.
• Proactively identify quality risks and mitigation strategies early in the delivery lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a QA / software testing role.
• 3+ years working in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong experience testing SAP solutions (ECC and S/4HANA).
• Demonstrated experience developing automated test cases using UiPath.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and defect management.
• Experience working with test and backlog tools such as Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience testing SAP in utilities, energy, or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of SAP CRM, Customer Care, Billing, or Finance processes.
• Experience with integration testing across SAP and non SAP platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and automated testing within release pipelines.
• Experience supporting large transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Strong data validation and test data management skills.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$95.00 and CA$120.00
