SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
Department Description: This is a non-customer facing position. Foreclosure Team specializes on managing foreclosure processes specific to loans secured by real estate and provides critical support to the Foreclosure Attorneys in 17+ states. Foreclosure Supervisor’s responsibilities include: managing all foreclosure-related processes, managing coding accounts in the system of record, validating documents prepared by attorneys, reviewing payment histories, and being a liaison between foreclosure attorneys and other Mortgage Default Management teams (Client Helps, Bankruptcy).

The Senior Supervisor, Collections & Recovery manages or oversees one or more business unit or section of the Collection or Recovery Department.

promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required
Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day activities of an operations, production or support unit(s), ensuring that processes are conducted efficiently and timely and according to established policies and procedures
- Supervises lead staff, assigning, prioritizing and monitoring work; Contributes to development of department policies and procedures and assists staff with most complex aspects of work as necessary
- Acts as a leader within department and conveys corporate vision to managed Employees
Job Description
- Prepares regular in-depth reports and information summarizing various aspects of unit(s) activities; Interprets important aspects of reports for management
- Participates in the development of overall department policies and procedures in coordination with department management and other unit managers; implements
- policies and procedures within unit Coordinates unit compliance with overall division guidelines as well as regulatory agencies
- Contributes to the management of department data processing, telephone and other systems; Monitors performance of systems and communicates feedback to department management and directly to vendors as appropriate.
- Audits staff work to ensure that day-to-day policies and procedures are followed and productivity levels are maintained; Coordinates with internal and external auditors, providing information and incorporating recommended changes as needed
MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:
- Foreclosure – Strong understanding of collections activities and specific unit practices
- Strong Excel (MS office suite)
- Detailed knowledge of related legal and regulatory guidelines
- Strong communication skills verbal and written
SOFT SKILLS:
- Problem solving skills
- Organizational ability
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Green Belt Certification preferred
- Experience with related systems and software
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $55.00 and $68.00
