Job Title: EI&C Project Engineer
Location: Calgary, AB (Onsite)

Job Description:
Our client a Multi Disciplined Engineering consulting firm in Calgary, AB is looking for E&IC Project Engineer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret equipment technical specifications and support equipment selection for capital and maintenance projects
- Develop and prepare scopes of work for engineering and construction packages
- Perform and document engineering reviews, ensuring alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with Operations and cross-functional teams to scope projects, identify technical challenges, and define effective solutions
- Support and participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) activities, including Management of Change (MOC) processes
- Provide technical input throughout project lifecycle, from concept development through execution and close-out
- Interface with external engineering firms, vendors, and contractors to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation, or related discipline)
- Strong background in Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) is required
- Experience working within an Owner-Operator environment, with prior exposure to engineering consulting firms considered an asset
- Proven experience supporting engineering projects, including design review, scope development, and execution support
- Hands-on experience with PSM programs, specifically Management of Change (MOC) processes
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with Operations teams to scope and define projects
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to review and challenge engineering deliverables
- Ability to Work in the US. This role will involve travel 50% of the time to the United States.
Certifications (Preferred):
- P.Eng (Professional Engineer) designation or eligibility
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is considered a strong asset

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$60.00 and CA$85.00
