Solutions Architect
As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of complex solutions that meet business requirements while ensuring alignment with the overall enterprise architecture. You will work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, developers, and other architects, to ensure successful delivery of various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the overall architecture for digital solutions, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals and technology standards.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and solution designs.
- Design end-to-end digital solutions encompassing web, mobile, cloud, integration, data, and security components.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct architectural reviews and assessments of existing systems to identify areas for improvement or optimization.
- Create architectural documentation, including solution diagrams, technical specifications, and design patterns.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure that our digital solutions remain innovative and competitive.
- Act as a subject matter expert on digital architecture and provide mentorship to junior architects and developers.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in all digital solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role in designing and implementing complex solutions across various domains and platforms.
- Strong knowledge of web frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), cloud services (Azure, Google Cloud), and integration frameworks (APIs, microservices).
- Proficiency in Event Hub, AKS, APIM is an asset.
- Experience with modern development practices such as SAFe Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in architectural modeling tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about technology solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, Certified Azure Solutions Architect, or similar are a plus.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$80.00 and CA$105.00
