Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – Healthcare Information Systems
Location: Winnipeg, MB (Onsite)
Estimated Duration: 8 Months

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support healthcare information system implementation projects within acute care and clinical environments.
  • Conduct business analysis activities including requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, workflow assessments, and capability gap analysis.
  • Document current and future state business processes, workflows, and functional requirements.
  • Facilitate collaboration with clinical stakeholders, operational teams, and technical resources to support healthcare service delivery improvements.
  • Develop process maps, operational procedures, and performance metrics within an ITIL service management environment.
  • Assist with project management activities including project scope development, project planning, schedule management, and status reporting.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and implementation readiness activities.
  • Develop end-user training materials, user guides, and support documentation.
  • Deliver training sessions and provide end-user support during system implementations and go-live activities.
  • Work closely with healthcare application teams supporting the Altera Sunrise suite of solutions.
  • Identify risks, issues, and process improvement opportunities throughout project delivery.
  • Ensure project deliverables align with organizational standards, operational requirements, and healthcare best practices.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

  • Valid PRINCE2 Foundation or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
  • Degree, Diploma, or Certification in Business Analysis.

Preferred Certifications

  • Valid Prosci Certification.
  • Valid ITIL Foundation or ITIL Practitioner certification.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Analyst role supporting information system implementation projects and process mapping initiatives.
  • Experience documenting business requirements, workflows, operational processes, and identifying capability gaps.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience implementing projects within a healthcare environment, including collaboration with clinical stakeholders and healthcare service delivery teams.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Project Management or Project Lead capacity, including development of project scope, project plans, and maintenance of project schedules.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience mapping and analyzing healthcare service delivery processes within an ITIL environment, including development and monitoring of performance metrics.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing and delivering end-user training and supporting organizational readiness activities for information system implementations.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working with the Altera Sunrise suite of solutions within a healthcare environment.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clinical, operational, and technical teams in complex healthcare environments.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$70.00 and CA$80.00
