Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Front-End (UI) Web Application Developer to join the Nuclear Business Technology team. The role focuses on developing a suite of custom applications to support program needs, with emphasis on user interfaces, accessibility, and performance. This position works alongside back-end developers and is responsible for delivering high-quality, responsive, and maintainable front-end solutions.
Qualifications
Mandatory: Extensive front-end development experience, strong React ecosystem knowledge, TypeScript/JavaScript proficiency, accessibility standards (WCAG), testing frameworks, and Git usage.
Desired: Familiarity with modern .NET frameworks, experience writing CI/CD pipelines, and knowledge of hosting across serverless, containers, and cloud platforms.
Job Description
- Develop modern front-end web applications using React and related technologies.
- Build and maintain reusable components and design systems.
- Ensure applications meet accessibility standards and performance requirements.
- Integrate user interfaces with various backend services and APIs.
- Participate in testing, deployment, and CI/CD processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$85.00 and CA$100.00
