Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Sr Salesforce Developer
As part of our client's digital modernization initiatives, the division is enhancing its inspection and investigation systems to improve service delivery, regulatory compliance, and public reporting.
This individual will contribute to the development of Salesforce-based CRM solutions supporting TPH inspections and investigations, including the architecture, methodologies, standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines required for effective system implementation and operation.
•                Designs, configures, develops, tests, implements, and maintains Salesforce (CRM) enterprise applications supporting Rabies, Food Safety, and Personal Service Settings inspection programs.
•                Designs and develops solutions that comply with applicable access, privacy, and security legislation and City standards.
•                Implements Salesforce configurations and customizations to support full lifecycle processes, including intake through Toronto Health Connection, case management, inspection workflows, and reporting.
•                Performs data migration and validation to ensure data integrity across systems.
•                Develops and enables mobile field capabilities for inspectors to conduct onsite inspections and capture data in real time.
•                Configures automated generation of correspondence, letters, and documentation to support communications and operational workflows.
•                Enables data integration and provisioning for public-facing platforms such as DineSafe and BodySafe for inspection result publishing.
•                Tests integrated systems to ensure compatibility, performance, and proper functional integration.
•                Provides coaching, training, and knowledge transfer to staff on Salesforce functionality, processes, and best practices.
 
 
Qualifications
•                A minimum of 10+ years hands-on experience in large project management and program management in Government jurisdictions and/or large private sector organizations. 
•                Extensive (over 5 years) project management experience delivering cyber projects. 
•                Extensive experience with traditional and innovative project management processes, techniques, tools across Agile, Waterfall, and iterative methods and associated tools. 
•                Strong IT knowledge with relevance to cyber threats, trends, and technologies. 
•                Project excellence spanning Governance, Definition, Planning, Project Management & Control, Financials, and Close-out. 
•                Strong proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Excel. 
•                Salesforce Platform Developer and/or Platform App Builder certification (active status). 
•                5+ years’ experience integrating Salesforce with multiple business systems using data integration tools such as Apache NiFi, Kafka, and RapidMQ, with sound understanding of integration patterns. 
•                5+ years’ experience using Visualforce, Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, Apex Web Services, APIs, AppExchange deployment, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura components, and Flows. 
•                5+ years’ experience implementing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Analytics Cloud (Tableau CRM/Einstein). 
•                5+ years’ experience building Salesforce native/hybrid mobile applications and integrating with Salesforce CRM. 
•                Ability to work in transformative programs. 
•                Tenacious and willing to support the team during peak workloads and high-volume periods. 
•                Strong process management and controls to minimize risk exposure. 
•                Ability to lead effective communication among all project stakeholders, including internal teams and clients. 
•                Ability to achieve business objectives through influencing and effectively collaborating with key stakeholders. 
•                Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable communicating at all organizational levels including business partners, leadership, and vendors. 
•                Demonstrated superior project management and stakeholder management skills. 
•                Demonstrated critical thinking and strategic planning abilities.  

Deliverables
Prepare test plans, test cases, scenarios and results documents;
Execute various types of technical tests (unit, functional, integration, system,
regression, penetration, performance and user acceptance testing);
Analyze results and creating reports for Management as needed; Track problems, defects and issues within a large project;  Assure the quality of software delivered by the team.
 

 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$85.00 and CA$95.00
