Job Title: Senior Business Continuity Consultant

Location: Saskatoon, SK (Remote)

Estimated Duration: 3 Months

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and update enterprise Business Continuity risk assessments.

  • Review and validate existing Business Impact Assessments (BIAs).

  • Develop and document Business Continuity Plans across business units.

  • Facilitate continuity planning workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.

  • Design and execute tabletop exercises and continuity testing activities.

  • Support crisis management planning and organizational resilience initiatives.

  • Provide mentorship and coaching to internal BCP resources.

  • Develop governance processes, maintenance procedures, and sustainability frameworks.

  • Assist with audit remediation activities and regulatory readiness.

  • Provide recommendations to improve organizational BCP maturity and culture.

Qualifications

  • CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional), MBCP, or equivalent designation.

  • 5+ years of Business Continuity Planning experience.

  • Proven experience building and implementing enterprise-wide BCP programs.

  • Strong knowledge of Business Impact Analysis (BIA), risk assessment methodologies, continuity planning, crisis management, and continuity testing.

  • Familiarity with standards such as ISO 22301, NFPA 1600, or other recognized business continuity frameworks.

  • Experience within regulated industries such as insurance, financial services, crown corporations, utilities, healthcare, or government.

  • Experience leading continuity maturity assessments and program transformations.

  • Experience supporting audit findings and compliance requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops and engage executive stakeholders.

  • Experience mentoring internal teams and transferring knowledge.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$70.00 and CA$80.00
