SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
We are looking for analyst to join our middle office operations team within client.

Department Overview
- With offices located around the world, the strength of client Securities Global Operations and Business Services lies in the diverse and dynamic group of individuals who provide critical infrastructure services that support and/or control the trading, investment and corporate banking functions of client.
- The Institutional Equities Operations team is part of Global Operations and Business Services and partners with multiple Sales & Trading teams and other areas within client Securities globally to mitigate risk for the Dealer and our clients. We are a global team heavily involved in strategic initiatives and projects, business development and process improvements to optimize efficiency, enhance client service levels and reduce risk.
Job Requirements.
- Provide middle office trade support across allocation, reconciliation, and inventory balancing functions
- Ensure accurate trade capture, matching, and settlement readiness for equities and derivatives flows
- Act as key control point between Front Office, clients, custodians, and clearing/depository platforms (CDS/DTC)
- Focus on break resolution, risk mitigation (fails/capital), and regulatory timelines (T+1 lifecycle)
- Perform block and step-out allocations across client and internal accounts
- Monitor and resolve exceptions in CTM / matching platforms
- Validate trade economics vs OMS / street records
- Manage DKs, unmatched and unaffirmed trades
- Ensure T+1 allocation / affirmation compliance

- Capital markets (equities) 3yrs
- Books and records system (similar ISM – IBM) SOPHIS – FIDESSA – CTM – CDS- DTC
- Excel – Use and maintain VBA
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$37.00 and CA$43.00
