The Assistant Vice-President, AI Solution Delivery will bring technology leadership with a strong business mindset to lead the delivery of high-impact AI solutions across the enterprise, accelerating value realization from AI investments. This role is accountable for shaping and executing AI delivery priorities, partnering with business and technology leaders to translate strategy into production-ready solutions, and ensuring AI initiatives are implemented in a compliant, secure, and scalable manner.
What You Will Do
- Establish and lead the AI Solution Delivery team, providing hands-on leadership to deliver enterprise AI initiatives while serving as a strategic advisor to business and technology teams.
- Provide delivery leadership by fostering strong engagement with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technology partners, ensuring clear communication of objectives, progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Partner closely with business leaders to translate enterprise AI strategy and business priorities into delivery roadmaps, execution plans, and measurable business outcomes.
- Collaborate across business and technology teams to intake, assess, prioritize, and deliver enterprise-wide AI use cases, with a focus on initiatives that provide the greatest strategic and business value.
- Define and implement scalable processes for designing, building, deploying, operating, and supporting AI solutions in production environments.
- Continuously evolve AI delivery, operating, and support models as the organization's AI capabilities mature and expand.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and product owner for custom AI models supporting both business and technology teams.
- Partner with AI governance, risk, compliance, and oversight teams to ensure AI solutions are responsibly developed, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a high-performance, delivery-focused culture.
What You Will Bring
- University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- 7–10 years of experience leading AI, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics solution delivery initiatives.
- Experience leading technology teams within large, complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong product management and delivery mindset with a focus on measurable business outcomes.
- Expertise in Agile delivery methodologies and modern product development lifecycles.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect AI initiatives to strategic business value.
- Working knowledge of AI governance, data governance, security, and regulatory considerations.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and align cross-functional teams across business and technology functions.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying current with advancements in AI and emerging technologies.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$200,000 and CA$230,000
