Senior Analyst, IT Program Reporting

The IT Program Reporting Senior Analyst builds and optimizes automated program and financial reporting in tools like AWS, Power BI and Excel by integrating data to deliver accurate KPIs and actionable insights that enable enterprise decision making. The role supports IT Program management, relating metrics and performance dashboards to business value outcomes.
Accountabilities

Deliver reliable, automated reporting that gives timely, accurate visibility into program health, financial performance and delivery risk.
Increase speed-to-insight by replacing manual spreadsheets and slide-building with scalable AWS/KIRO dashboards and automated Excel models.
Raise data quality and trust through modeling, validation, and controls (exception handling, mapping, naming standards etc.) that ensure consistency and compliance with organizational standards.
Make outcomes measurable by collaborating on clear KPIs and scorecards that tie work to business value and objectives.
Progress automation from manual spreadsheets toward Kiro-hosted, GitHub enabled and CI/CD-ready dashboard updates.
Coach stakeholder on FinCalc discipline, dashboard interpretation and self-service reporting behaviours.
Partner with teams to remove blockers and scale adoption.

Own

Supports Reporting pipeline—Excel data model, transformations, source links, loading schedule, dashboard refresh readiness and operational support.
Owns Dashboard build and refinement in KIRO/AWS, including consolidated views, filters, KPI cards, trends, resource views and IT Scorecard outputs.
Supports Data-quality controls: formula checks, FTE/Contractor mapping, currency consistency, source-file naming, reconciliation, issue triage and release notes.

Influence:

Advise stakeholders on best practices -modeling, visual design, automation, to make reports actionable and self serve.
Educate teams on reading dashboards, interpreting signals, and closing the loop from insight to decision to action.
Champion simplification, helping move teams away from ad hoc slides toward consistent, decision-ready BI.
Collaborate with developers, Cloud/AWS, Security, EA, FP&A and TPMs to stabilize production readiness and move from local/zip-file delivery to URL access.

Qualifications, Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
4+ years in BI, reporting automation, analytics engineering, data product ownership or dashboard development.
 

Skills Needed to be Successful

AWS Bedrock, Kiro, Power BI (DAX, Power Query, model design, page/report interactions, row-level security).
Coding / developer foundation: JavaScript / Node / React or equivalent; ability to run, troubleshoot and modify dashboard code; GitHub and CI/CD familiarity.
Excel (advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, macros/VBA; building maintainable automation).
Integrations across tools like JIRA, Asana, and AWS .
Program & financial reporting concepts (variance analysis, forecast vs. actuals, backlog/throughput, velocity).

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$80,000 and CA$100,000
