Job Title: Operations Officer II – Bilingual
Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Supporting our client’s clients in managing their finances, reviewing documents submitted by branch partners to ensure they meet legal requirements, and processing them if accurate or following up when needed.

Overview
The Power of Attorney (POA) team handle request for Client clients who requires a substitute decision maker to manages their finances.
Power of Attorney (POA) team reviews all documents submitted by our branch partners to ensures that they are in accordance with our policies/procedures, the province legislation and that any necessary supplementary documentation is included. If the documents meet all requirements accounts will be message according . If not, the package is return with a standard deficiency message.

The role requires employees to:

  • Interpret complex legal documents.
  • Work in a highly regulated environment.
  • Manage incomplete or inconsistent submissions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of changing provincial legislation and internal policies.
  • Meet service level expectations while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

MUST HAVE Hard Skills:

  • Fully bilingual in English and French- written and verbal
  • 2-4 years of banking experience is required
  • Prior experience in an SLA based role
  • Microsoft 365 proficiency- Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Comfortable using AI technology

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
  • Decision making skills
  • Attention to detail and accurcay
  • Ability to multiask and manage volumes
  • Collaboration skills

NICE-TO-HAVE

  • Legal experience- working with legal government documents
  • Familiarity with POA files.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$26.00 and CA$30.00
