Job Description

Under the supervision of the paint line department manager and working very closely with our Paint-Line Technician, the painter must have experience in electrostatic powder coating.

Role and responsibilities

  • Apply powder coating by electrostatic process.
  • Actively participate in the troubleshooting of problems in the application, surface treatment, and curing of paint.
  • Carry out quality inspections of your paint application and the applications of others.
  • Participate in the management of the paint inventory and color changes as they arise.
  • Participate in the Daily/ weekly / Monthly maintenance procedures associated to the paint-line.
  • All other tasks as assigned by your Superiors.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • DEP in metal finishing, industrial painting or equivalent, OR work experience.
  • Experience on a conveyor line – An asset
  • Process Driven. Attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude, Safety First Approach.

Description du poste

Sous la supervision du gestionnaire du département de la chaîne de peinture et en étroite collaboration avec notre technicien de la chaîne de peinture, le peintre doit avoir de l’expérience en application de revêtement en poudre électrostatique.

Rôle et responsabilités

  • Appliquer le revêtement en poudre par procédé électrostatique.
  • Participer activement au dépannage des problèmes liés à l’application, au traitement de surface et à la cuisson de la peinture.
  • Effectuer des inspections de qualité de vos propres applications de peinture ainsi que de celles des autres.
  • Participer à la gestion de l’inventaire de peinture et aux changements de couleur, au besoin.
  • Participer aux procédures d’entretien quotidiennes, hebdomadaires et mensuelles associées à la chaîne de peinture.
  • Effectuer toutes autres tâches assignées par vos supérieurs.

Exigences en matière de connaissances et de compétences

  • DEP en finition de métaux, peinture industrielle ou équivalent, OU expérience de travail pertinente.
  • Expérience sur une chaîne de convoyage — un atout.
  • Souci des processus et attention aux détails.
  • Attitude positive et approche axée sur la sécurité.

  • Excellentes compétences organisationnelles.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$22.15 and CA$28.00
