Job Title: Senior Developer – Data & Analytics

Location: Winnipeg, MB (Hybrid)

Estimated Duration: 8 Months
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data pipelines supporting data migration and integration initiatives.
  • Develop ETL processes and data transformation solutions to move data between multiple enterprise systems.
  • Build and support cloud-based data engineering solutions using AWS services.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data processing workflows.
  • Support large-scale enterprise data migration and integration activities.
  • Implement data quality, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring processes.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Analysts, Architects, SMEs, and other developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance, integration, and data processing issues.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, mappings, development standards, and implementation artifacts.
  • Support testing and deployment activities across multiple environments.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL Development, Data Integration, or Analytics Development roles.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Experience developing enterprise data pipelines.
  • Experience building ETL and data integration solutions.
  • Experience utilizing AWS services to support data movement and processing.
  • Strong understanding of data engineering best practices.
  • Experience working with enterprise databases and large datasets.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Informatica.
  • Experience supporting large-scale data migration initiatives.
  • Experience integrating data between multiple enterprise platforms.
  • Experience working within cloud-native data environments.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, mergers, or enterprise integration projects.
  • Experience with insurance industry data.
  • Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter or other insurance platforms.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$85.00 and CA$95.00
