Contract Duration:  6 months contract

Job Description
The Warehouse Materials Coordinator (Intermediate) supports warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and material handling activities to ensure accurate inventory records, efficient storage utilization, and timely order fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support warehouse operations, including inventory storage, material handling, and space utilization.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other job-related equipment.
  • Perform shipping and receiving activities, including material receipt, picking, packing, and shipping, in accordance with established procedures.
  • Verify vendor shipments against purchase orders, identify and report discrepancies, and complete inventory transactions and reconciliations in SAP.
  • Review inventory stocking levels and report obsolete or restocked materials, recommending adjustments to minimum and maximum stock levels as required.
  • Communicate warehouse storage limitations and capacity concerns to the Warehouse Foreman and recommend solutions to optimize space utilization.
  • Meet established safety, delivery, cost, and quality performance targets.
  • Verify the accuracy of inventory and catalogue numbers, material descriptions, quantities, units of measure, and storage locations.
  • Assist with investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile records as required.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Project teams to optimize inventory management and order fulfillment.
  • Follow applicable operating procedures, warehouse policies, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams and suppliers to schedule pickups, deliveries, and transportation routes.
  • Implement and maintain inventory procedures, controls, and performance indicators for material requisition, receipt, and warehouse storage.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education

  • GED or equivalent.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Post-secondary education.

Experience

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience, with a minimum assessment requirement of 4 years.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and material handling.
  • Familiarity with SAP inventory transactions and reconciliation.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and reach trucks.
  • Knowledge of inventory procedures, physical stock counts, and warehouse safety standards.

  • No field work required.

 

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $25.00 and $27.00
