Job Title: Account Manager – Sales & Independent Sales Agents (LED Lighting)

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a driven and results-oriented sales professional to expand its footprint across Ontario and additional provinces. These roles focus on building and managing distribution partnerships while driving project-based LED lighting sales by highlighting cost savings, energy efficiency, and available incentive programs.
The Account Manager role offers structured growth and training, while the Independent Sales Agent role is designed for experienced, self-directed professionals seeking high earning potential through commission-based compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and onboard new Distributors and Re-Sellers
- Identify and target project-based opportunities for LED lighting solutions
- Promote energy savings and ROI benefits, including leveraging local incentive programs
- Develop and execute territory sales strategies
- Build targeted prospect lists and schedule client meetings
- Align activities with monthly and annual revenue targets
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors and partners
- Negotiate pricing and close sales opportunities
- Provide continuous support to channel partners
- Maintain a robust opportunity pipeline
- Prepare quotes and ensure timely follow-ups
- Track and report on sales performance and metrics
Qualifications
- Experience in B2B sales, territory sales, or account management
- Strong ability to generate and close new business
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience working with distributors or reseller channels
- Knowledge of project-based sales environments
- Willingness to be trained in LED lighting solutions
- Lighting industry experience (LED/commercial/residential)
- Proven success in independent or commission-based sales roles

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$50.00 and CA$45,000
