Role Overview
The Administrative Assistant will provide high-level administrative, managerial, and organizational support to the VP, Corporate Development, the VP, Enterprise Triangle Partnerships, and their respective teams. The Corporate Development and Enterprise Triangle Partnerships teams accelerate strategy execution for Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC), focusing on new business opportunities, partnerships, acquisitions, and other growth initiatives, making this an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects.
This role is ideal for a high-energy, experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in supporting senior executives and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage dynamic calendars, coordinate meetings (including A/V and catering), arrange travel, and prepare executives for daily activities for both VPs and their teams.
- Support onboarding of new employees, collect and record bi-weekly payroll data, and plan/co-ordinate team events and offsite meetings.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, professional firms, and government offices.
- Prepare and format reports, presentations, and committee materials; improve filing systems and order supplies.
- Monitor team budgets, process invoices, track expenses, and proactive flag variances.
- Handle highly sensitive matters with professionalism and business maturity.
- Support special projects and other related duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting executives in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe; knowledge of Workday and Concur is an asset.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of independence, initiative, and reliability.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, exercise sound judgment, and anticipate needs.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Ability to build valuable relationships within the organization.
- Professional presence, tact, and political savvy.
- Willingness to occasionally monitor email off-hours.
- Experience monitoring budgets and providing administrative support in a helpful, respectful, and friendly manner.
- Candidate is required to be on-site 4 days per week.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$44,000 and CA$65,000
