Story Behind the Need
Business group: The Client Primacy & Personalization team is responsible for ideation, design, engineering, and implementation of software for the Personalization domain.
Project: Seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team, focusing on the development of Client Primacy & Personalization. Will be working on BAU – Client Primacy and Personalization – partnering with engineering groups, gathering requirements, solution design, for the personalization domain.

Typical Day in Role:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including Bankers, Product Owners, Engineers, and Testers, to gather and analyze business requirements
- Conduct thorough business process analysis to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline workflows, and enhance system functionality.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional and technical specifications, user stories, and system design documents.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements during the software development lifecycle.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to resolve issues and ensure project alignment with business objectives.
- Provide ongoing support and assistance to business users during software implementation, training, and post-implementation phases.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project timelines and collaborate with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and proposing enhancements to existing processes, tools, and methodologies.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
- 10 + years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
- 2+ years’ experience with Personalization, Offer Management, Campaigns, and Leads, overall Banking processes, products, and systems, with knowledge of core banking platforms and financial instruments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements, creating functional specifications, and performing business process analysis.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA).
- Experience with Adobe AEP – intermediate skills
- Banking/FI experience
Soft Skills Required:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) nice to have
