Job Title:  Analyst, Project Management
Location: 3 Allen Center, Suite 5050, 333 Clay Street, Houston, Texas,77002.
Contract Duration:  6 months contract to hire

Role Summary

  • Supports the VP of Capital Projects & LNG Technology and Projects Group.
  • Provides project analysis, coordination, reporting, project controls, and administrative support.
  • Tracks cost, schedule, scope, risks, changes, procurement, and KPIs across multiple capital projects.
  • Works with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, Finance, HSE, contractors, and vendors.
  • Not responsible for overall project execution/accountability.

Must-Have Experience

  • 5+ years in project management, project controls, engineering, construction, operations support, or business analysis.
  • Experience supporting capital projects in LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, energy, industrial, or regulated facilities preferred.
  • Strong experience with project reporting, data analysis, dashboards, presentations, trackers, schedules, cost forecasts, risks, and action items.
  • Advanced Excel and strong Microsoft 365 skills.
  • Knowledge of scope, cost, schedule, risk, change, quality, procurement, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience supporting brownfield/greenfield projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning/start-up, and closeout.
  • LNG facility or operating-facility experience.
  • Knowledge of MOC, stage-gate governance, FERC, PHMSA.
  • Power BI, scheduling tools, cost-control systems, ERP, or AI/Copilot experience.
  • CAPM, PMP, or project controls certification completed/in progress.
  • Associate/Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, Finance, or related field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare executive reports, dashboards, presentations, and decision-support analysis.
  • Maintain project trackers, risk/opportunity, change, decision, and action logs.
  • Support schedules, cost forecasts, cash flow, estimates, staffing/resource plans.
  • Identify variances, trends, risks, and issues and escalate them.
  • Coordinate project reviews, stage gates, risk reviews, contractor reviews, and leadership meetings.
  • Support process improvement, governance, document control, contracts/POs/invoices/change orders, and regulatory/MOC tracking.
  • Perform research, benchmarking, feasibility analysis, and special projects.
  • Participate in site visits/walkdowns and follow HSE requirements.
