Job Profile: Analyst, Retail Capability and Support
Job Summary:
The Analyst, Retail Capability and Support plays a crucial role in assisting the development, implementation, and sustainment of business capabilities. This position supports both initial capability builds and larger sustainment continuous delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, conduct analysis, support testing efforts, and ensure smooth transitions into sustainment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in gathering and documenting detailed business requirements from stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of initial product capabilities.
- Assist in mapping current and future process flows, detailing roles and responsibilities in each stage to ensure clarity and alignment with optimized processes
- Participate in stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand user pain points and enhancement needs.
- Collaborate with UX, Tech, and Data teams to translate business requirements into specifications.
- Assist in writing user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Help manage product backlogs by documenting enhancement requests and translating feedback into actionable items.
- Support sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), go-live activities, daily standups, and cross-functional synchronization meetings.
- Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), decision matrices, and workflow documentation.
- Incident Management: Track bug fixes, change requests, compliance updates ensuring timely resolution.
- Monitor product performance post-launch to gather feedback for continual improvement.
- Provide support in coordinating with vendors (for SaaS) or internal teams (for in-house builds).
- Assist in tracking capability maturity across markets or functions.
- Provide regular updates on project status to the Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a related role or field such as business analysis or project coordination
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies is an asset.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel) is required; familiarity with tools like Lucid and JIRA is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to analyze information objectively and provide recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving and investigative skills required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with manager and senior consultant on team to develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Adaptable with the ability to adjust quickly and embrace change between tasks or projects.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$64,000 and CA$80,000
