Analytics Consultant

Position Title: Sr Analytics Consultant
Location: Calgary or Downtown Toronto
Estimated Duration: Fulltime

What the Role Entails:

• Develop, maintain and optimize sustainable predictive analytics models to improve our broker and customer experience.
• Work autonomously on challenging, strategic projects in areas such as: customer profiling & segmentation, client retention & cross-sell, and more
• Drive change by improving work processes and making substantive observations, conclusions and recommendations
• Analyze large volume of data from multiple sources to identify business opportunities and find solutions to strategic challenges. Share the conclusions and provide recommendations within the established timeline.
• Support and collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including front line managers, human resources, finance, and technology by advancing current analytics processes.

The Successful candidate will have:

• University Degree
• Certifications in Mathematics, Actuarial, Finance or Economics, ACAS or FCAS preferred
• 5 years or more of actuarial experience (preferably in the P&C Insurance sector)
• Good knowledge with SAS, VBA, R or Python
• Desirable competencies: adaptability, innovative, analytical, decision making, critical thinking, stellar communication, planning and organizing, team oriented
