Job Profile: Creditor Developer with Appian
Location: Canada – Main – Burlington office, however remote is possible.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Appian Underwriting Platform Support: Primary responsibility for maintaining and supporting the
Appian underwriting platform, ensuring its smooth operation, and addressing any issues promptly.
2. Efficiency Optimization: Proactively identify and implement efficiencies within the current solution
to enhance performance and reduce operational costs.
3. Incremental System Improvements: Recognize and execute additional opportunities for system
enhancements that do not require a full overhaul, focusing on incremental adjustments to improve
functionality.
4. Testing and Deployment Streamlining: Collaborate with internal resources to streamline testing and
deployment processes, aiming to increase efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
5. Feature Delivery Support: When not engaged in application support, assist the feature delivery
team in building out new solutions on the platform, contributing to the development and
implementation of new features.
6. Lead discussions with the Technical and Business teams to gather requirements and troubleshoot
issues.
Required Skills:
• Proficiency in Appian development: A solid understanding of Appian’s low-code platform,
including process modeling, interface design, and data management.
• Familiarity with web technologies, REST integration, Establishing web APIs. Experience with
Azure DevOps ,CI/CD pipelines, version control.
• Experience with relational database management and involvement in creating SQL queries.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Three-four years demonstrated Appian development accompanied by the following Appian
Certifications:
o Certified Associate Developer (Minimum)
o Certified Senior Developer (Preferred)
o Certified Lead Developer (Ideal
