Assembler – Electro-Mechanical Equipment (Confidential Client – GTA)
Overview:
 My client is adding skilled assemblers to their production team to help build precision electrical and mechanical equipment used in advanced industrial and energy applications. This position involves hands-on assembly, wiring, and quality checks to make sure each product leaves the floor on time and up to spec.
Key Responsibilities:
-  Assemble electro-mechanical parts, subassemblies, and finished units using hand and power tools 
-  Mount and secure components within panels and enclosures; drill, tap, or punch as needed for fit and layout 
-  Build and route wire harnesses, crimp terminals, and neatly tie or bundle cables 
-  Read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions 
-  Identify proper wiring sequences and spacing for parts and layouts 
-  Perform basic troubleshooting and support root cause investigations on build or test issues 
-  Package and prepare completed products for shipment, including labeling and transfer to warehouse areas 
-  Record inventory movements and material transactions in the ERP system 
-  Tag, segregate, and report non-conforming material when found 
-  Participate in continuous improvement activities and maintain organized, 5S-compliant workstations 
-  Follow all safety, ESD, and quality procedures at all times 
Qualifications:
-  Secondary school diploma (technical or electrical training an asset) 
-  At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment 
-  Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs safely 
-  Comfortable using hand tools, crimpers, and torque drivers 
-  Able to read and understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams 
-  Basic computer and ERP familiarity preferred 
-  Team-oriented, reliable, and adaptable to different builds or product lines

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$23.00 and CA$23.00
