Job Title: Associate Analyst

Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Analyst to join our IT Controls & Enablement team. In this role, you will coordinate the monitoring and reporting of financial data across the portfolio and support governance initiatives that ensure compliance and operational excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain financial discipline, enforce guardrails, and help the group achieve strategic objectives.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of project financial data across all initiatives in IT portfolio.
  • Deliver timely and organized reporting of the IT portfolio, including variance analysis (actuals vs. plan/forecast).
  • Monitor and track financial metrics and KPIs; identify and implement process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to support Controls & Enablement mandates.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for resources across projects in IT portfolio.
  • Support audits, perform risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve financial and growth targets.
  • Support vendor management activities to ensure smooth execution of contracts and adherence to terms.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of portfolio initiatives.

 
Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in financial reporting, risk management, governance, and compliance.
  • Post-secondary education: University degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, or IT.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI and basic SQL skills for data manipulation
  • Familiarity with portfolio/workflow systems such as ServiceNow or similar
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in variance analysis and KPI interpretation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable with a strong sense of ownership.

 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$70,000 and CA$80,000
